A mandarin with an exquisite aroma with its origins in Japan. Satsuma mandarin pulp does not enjoy the same quality taste as other varieties but they are the first to market.
Clausellina
Are the first variety to market of the season. These are large mandarins which contain a lot of ordinary tasting juice and few seeds.
Season: Middle of September to October
Okitsu
A mandarin with few seeds, medium-size and with a good flavour. They contain a lot of juice and the pulp is not as thick as other mandarins. This variety ripens early in the season and can be picked in September.
Season: September- January
